I have had Baby-Gs in the past and know what they are like. This is a bigger watch, but it is almost indestructable. I really like the face on this one. It is very classy compared to the digital ones.

Customer Review: Cool watch but cant's see the face
great looking watch online but when you get it it is hard to see the time, i thought it was the battery but the battery is fine it is hard to see the numbers because the digital part is metallic. so i dont recommend it it is to hard to see the numbers.

Customer Review: Beautiful Watch!
I love this watch! It's gorgeous! The only thing that is less-than-great about it is that the display should have more contrast. I need to turn the backlight on to read the black-on-gold display at light levels significantly higher than with my watches that have black-on-gray displays. If I did this often, battery life would certainly be shorter than on my other watches but since I wear it primarily during daylight while at work, it's rare that I'll need to use it in low light.

This watch is not completely what I wanted but it will do for the time being. Casio has made great watches in the past and this could be one of them if it weren't for a few concerns of mine.

The watch is very nice and functions well. The only problem that I have with it is that the time is very hard to see. The background of the face of the watch is off white and the digital numbers are silver. There is no way to make it darker. In the sunlight, the numbers/time are completely unreadable.
